Experience

Since my Sophomore year in High School, I have been taking classes that involve the study of Graphics. Throughout the courses, I have learned a great deal of information regarding production, artwork, design, and leadership. Along with learning all of this information, I was also able to display my knowledge by accepting and completing jobs requested by the general public. The experience I have had in these courses have helped me get a feel for a real world working enviroment.

School Letterhead

As a result of the new school logo, I was asked to create a new letterhead for the administrators. I used various programs to complete the letterhead.

Chateau Du Wine

A logo was in need for my parents to represent the summer home they are renting out. They asked me to utilize my creativity to create the logo for them. This is the result

Graphic Communications Semester I 2013

As a continuation of my educational career at Kaneland, I decided to take classes that I was not normally into taking. My second year of involvement, I enrolled in the Graphic Communications class. In this class I was taught how to use programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator. I became enthusiastic about working with computers and decided to improve my skill by signing up for the more enhanced class.

 

Graphics I 2014-2015

Graphics I is a class that is required to be at least a junior, or three years at Kaneland. Graphics I focus on, not only computer programs, but also introduce students to the world of graphics. Students in this class become knowledgeable on a printer’s capabilities, printing on press, the creation of posters, logo, books, and magazines.

 

Graphics II 2015-2016

After the completion of Graphics I, I qualified to progress to the next lever- Graphics II. In this course, I have learned to further improve my design skills as well as help others with their work. As an upper level classmate, I became a leader in the enviroment by teaching others new techniques and skills. Graphics II not only taught me how to become a better designer, but also a better student.
